The Revolution started Russia was waves mass political unrest through vast areas of the russian empire. The leader of the russian communist or Bolshevik party was Valdimir Lenin. The slogan of the bolshevik party was "bread land and peace". It signified everything that the bolsheviks wanted Russia to be, for there to bread to feed its people, land for to people to have and grow crops, and peace for the entire country.Valdimir Lenin believed in marxism and communism. Also if Russia became commusit so will the rest of the world. This revolution was aganist Czar Nicholas II of Russia. Russia had this revolution because peasants and workers were disatisfied with the land lords and factory owners. By creating a revolution to change the ways would allow every one to be better off in life. Also World War one was a cause of the Russian Revolution. Revolution was about gaining a change in government that would offer more help to its people during times of food shortages, wars , and illness.

The causes of World War 1 was the first global war that took place over several continents. It began in 1914 and ended in 1918 , it changed the world as we know it.One of the main causes of WW1 was the strong feeling if nationalism that all the main countries of europe had. For example , France was very upset over the lost of Alssce-lorraine to Germany in 1870. The German on the other hand were creating one german country through the nationalism. All the people of this countries were very proud of there countries and were support of what they did. Militarism the belief government or people that a country should maintain a strong military and be prepared to use it aggressively to defend or promote national interests. The collapse of the Alliance system began with the assination of Franz Ferdinand. The cuntries were no longer able to continue what they had promised.Franz Ferdinand and his wife were assassinated on June 28, 1914. With this assissnation led to countires wanting to have control over the oil that was in Austria.

For centuries china called itself the middle kingdom , this meant that china was at the center of the world . China felt that it did not need everything from the rest of the world . The british had a negative balance of trade , this means that the british were buying more than they were selling . "They decided to bring in opium mixed with tobacco to promote opium smoking.". It was made in dies and then shipped to china by british merchants. The opium war was a battle of drugs over China and England. England won the war against China, got five ports to trade, every crime was convicted as if in England, but really in China. Also China was forced to sign the treaty of Nanking. it was called the Opium war because that was the drug that had been traded between China and England for sereval years. England was able to win the war, because of the advance technology that they had over China. Leading to a crushing defeat on China's account.

The Europeans had a hard time looking for the source of the nile river in africa. The explore name was John Speke and Richard Burton came to africa in 1854 looking for the source of the nile . The reason is that the europeans did not know what the inside of africa looked like. They first came to africa around at 1854 and they landed in the Somalia. From there , they went inland and there they had many problems. The faced dangerous tribes and there were almost killed.

The second time they went to africa , they had other more problems like bad water and they lost equipment,food,the wildlife and the terrain like the weather of what they walked on. The reason why we did the European Imperialism project was that they were spreading across the world.What I learn was that in the imperialism had to many tobacoo , diseses , weapons (etc.) that cost them alot of stuff , and i just remembered that I had to color and pastsed the countries that they had effected.And that's the reason why we did this is because they were spreading the world

In Karl Marx's idea of the Communism was a word from for common , And workers would share wealth in the communist society .A utopian society based on equality between individuals with all having equal access to the means of production.Marx believed that the workers would have controlled the government , but the communist government were strict and dictatorial . Marx believed the workers and the bosses where in what toward in what he called a class problems of the workers and the bosses . He's expected that the workers would win the class struggle to a violnet revolution . The workers were the good guys. Also he believed that religion was a drug , it keep people from doing the work because it keep the people quite . another thing was that it keep people in metal chains . Marx wanted communism to take over the world because everyone would then have equal amounts of wealth.

Karl Marx thought the industrial revolution was going to be good but only for a little while. He believed that the industrial revolution created social classes and tensions between social classes. The industrial revolution to Marx was a way of the Factory owners to expolite workers for their labor. He believed that a rebellion will demloish the industrial revolution. The industrial Revolution inspired Marx to create communism because of the future rebellions. Since Karl Marx believed that the tensions between socal classes would start a rebellion and take over society. Nationalism is like bascally that contribute with people in america . not only that they belong in there country , They support our country in competition against to our country . Technically Nationalism is a belief that ones is the greatest loyalty sould not be king or the empire but to the nation of the people who shares a common culture and history and the language. To have its own independent government. I am nationalstic because i speak english the language of america, i also celebrate 4th of july which is america's indepence from England. I say the pledge of Algence when i go to baseball games and sing the national anthem. Nationalism was used to create the nation of Italy by slowly uniting the people together under a single ruler. by uniting the people under a single ruler people began to feel that they knew each other. Before it became Italy it was divide in two, an industrilized north and argicultural south. it became Italy because of
Camillo di Cavour who unifyed Italy slowly and had the people join together. although the dialect was different in the different places of Italy you could still understand what they were saying. It became italy because of a common history and language and help by having only a single ruler for the country.

Simon Bolivar is best know for leading several reveloutions aganist the Spainards for the indepence of south america. He managed to free now modern day Colombia, Ecaudor, Panama and Venezula from spainard control. Simon got help from local patroits from Colombia and Jamacia who wanted freedom from Spain. He was fighting for the freedom of people from the Spainards who were controling them. Simon has a country named after him because of all he accomplish while he lived in South America. The country that is named after him is Bolivia. He was influnced on his conquest for indepence when he returned home after being away. Bolivar saw how his people were being treated and did not like how they were. Also he knew of people that wanted their indepence and were willing to fight along side of him to gain their indepence from Spain.

John Locke was an enlightenment think. John Locke created the foundation for the social contract that we use. Locke also had ideas of natural rights that belong to humans. They were life, liberty, and property. John Locke influnced american and Thomas Jefferson. Thomas Jefferson took these ideas and change them a bit and put them into the american constitution. Jefferson's rights were life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. With life the person was allowed to live the way they wanted. With liberty they were granted freedom. As for the pursuit of happiness the person was allowed to search for what made them happy. Accordding to the constitution the government was created for the people, by the people and to the people. The people are the ones who created the government for themselves so they choose how to be ruled. If the people do not like the government or the person in charge they can over throw the government. The government gets the power from the people. The people have a right to change the government. That is why sometimes we will have a republic president and then we could have a democratic president.

Heliocentric theory is the belief that the sun is at the center of the universe. And it stays in the middle with everything revolving around it. This theory came out of the scientific revolution. The geocentric theory was the belief that the earth was in the center and everything revolved around it. this theory was around first then the heliocentric theory. most people believed in the geocentric theory then in the heliocentric. i beleive that the heliocentric theory is the correct theory. Because the stays and allows earth to mantain life. Also because we are advance in our technology and science we know that it is indeed a heliocentric model that allows the universe to work.
The trail of Galileo is that he had invented the telescope. And had discovered that the ewarth was not the center of the universe but it was the sun that was the center of the universe. he was being put on trail by the catholic church because during the time of the italian renaicesnes the church had all the power. Galileo was going agaisnt the teachings of the catholic church. the church was telling people that the earth was the center of the universe. Galileo believed and proved that the sun was actually in the center of the universe. Since was going against the church's teachings he was put on trail.

The Scientific Method is kind of what type of an experiment your doing . And also you wanna know of what your interst in , and the most important is the Hypotheses because your testing to find if your hypotheses is correct or not. Scientific Method has six parts to it :
1.Ask a Question
2.Do Background Research
3.Construct a Hypothesis
4.Test Your Hypothesis by Doing an Experiment
5.Analyze Your Data and Draw a Conclusion
6.Communicate Your Results
For an example : of people using the scientific method are scientist who are studying a new drug . these scientist conduct cilinical studys in which they test out there Hypotheses . the scientist are using the scientific method to find out weather or not the drug can help cure a disease.

Evolution and creationism

Creationism is the belief that animals and humans were created by a god or a higher being. It is a bibical refrence to the bible. Creationism dates back to the medevial ages when church had a greater control over people. Most religions do not accept evolution but they believe in creationism. There have been many different types of creationism. people that believe in creationism do not believe that humans evolved from apes.

Darwin had created a theory of evolution. in this theory humans had evolved from apes. he also has a theory of natural selection. in natural selection the creatures that are able to adapt and evolve at the same time there world is. while have there genes passed down. while the other creatures who were not able to evolve will die off along with their genes. Darwin's theory of evolution can be backed up by science. since we are advance we can check bones found long time ago and determine if they are ancestors to some of our current animals.

My opinion is that i believe in creationism. I believe in creationism because Darwin 's theory on distant animals and humans they do not make sense. What he thought of things that are real do not work. Also because the world has not been around and has not had animals around for that long. It would not make sense that we evolved from animals because his theory is that it takes several million to evolved. Also humans and animals have different skulls and body types.
