The causes of World War 1 was the first global war that took place over several continents. It began in 1914 and ended in 1918 , it changed the world as we know it.One of the main causes of WW1 was the strong feeling if nationalism that all the main countries of europe had. For example , France was very upset over the lost of Alssce-lorraine to Germany in 1870. The German on the other hand were creating one german country through the nationalism. All the people of this countries were very proud of there countries and were support of what they did. Militarism the belief government or people that a country should maintain a strong military and be prepared to use it aggressively to defend or promote national interests. The collapse of the Alliance system began with the assination of Franz Ferdinand. The cuntries were no longer able to continue what they had promised.Franz Ferdinand and his wife were assassinated on June 28, 1914.
